Check out some of my work:

Choosing the Right RPG

This a microlearning course I developed using Articulate Rise 360.

Decoding Polynomials

This is a simple interactive learning item I developed using Articulate Storyline. I used this to show how I might make a basic supplement for an online math course.

ADA Compliance - Rise 360

This a short course I developed using Articulate Rise 360 detailing some of the ADA requirements for eLearning courses.

Sales Techniques - Job Aid

This is a Sales Techniques job aid I created using Canva. It outlines a few sales techniques to work generally in a sales company environment.

Developing Workshops - Part 1

This is a training I made on how to develop workshops while working at the USF Training Consortium (part 1).

Developing Workshops - Part 2

This is a training I made on how to develop workshops while working at the USF Training Consortium (part 2).

Instructional Design Strategy - ADDIE

This is the document I used to lay out the training design using the ADDIE method.

SME Information Capture

This is an example framework I would use to gather information from a Subject Matter Expert (SME). This exact content of the framework changes based on the material, format, and SME preferences.

Timeline - Articulate 360

I developed this interactive timeline as a simple project in Articulate Storyline 360. It features simple triggers, variables, and multiple-choice questions.

Trainer DNA

This graphic was one I designed for the Trainer Coaching and Competency Program. I used Adobe Illustrator to lay out the design based on the needs of the subject matter experts I worked with.

Excel Tutorial

This Excel tutorial was the first major project I made in Articulate Storyline. It features narration, screen capture, and branching navigation. It is not as polished as much of my later work, but I'm proud of it as the item that helped me start my portfolio.

Trainer Skills - Adult Learning Theory

This is a sample draft of one section of the trainer skills course I developed for a Train-the-Trainer program.

About:

I am an instructional designer specializing in eLearning development, curriculum design, and technology integration. With a wealth of experience and a diverse skill set, I am passionate about creating engaging and effective learning experiences.

Throughout my role as a Learning Designer at Saint Leo University, I had the opportunity to collaborate closely with faculty members, designing and delivering online and in-person courses that greatly enhanced student learning experiences. I took charge of seamlessly integrating these courses into the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring accessibility and smooth delivery to students. By creating visually appealing graphics and interactive learning materials, I successfully increased student engagement and knowledge retention. My strong project management skills enabled me to handle multiple courses simultaneously and coordinate diverse teams efficiently, ensuring timely completion.

During my time as an Instructional Designer at the University of South Florida, I worked closely with subject matter experts to develop highly effective statewide training courses. By introducing adult learning principles to the training team, I significantly improved training outcomes and learner engagement. Through the development of engaging web-based and in-person trainings, I facilitated effective knowledge transfer and participant interaction. I also played a crucial role in aligning and editing content, ensuring clarity and consistency in training materials. By incorporating adult learning theories and creating visually appealing multimedia designs, I enhanced the overall training experience for participants.
